1Entebbe/Kampala → Masindi
Our driver picks you in Entebbe or Kampala in the morning. Go straight to the North up to the Ziwa Rhino Camp. Together with the experienced guides visit the white rhinos by foot. Continue to Masindi.

2Masindi → Murchison Falls National Park
Get to know the town on Masindi, see the local market, the shops, and learn more about its development. Then continue to the Murchison Falls Nationalpark. On your way visit the top fall, an impressive spectacle of the Nile where the water forces itself through a gorge (7 m wide, 43 m tall). Usually you see rainbows and can feel the wet breeze. Continue to your accommodation where you will stay at night inside the nationalpark.

3Murchison Falls National Park
In the morning take a boat cruise on the river Nile. You will see hippos, crocodiles, many birds, and many savannah animals looking for water at the river. In the afternoon go for a game drive. You can see various animals, giraffes, elephants, many antelopes, etc.

4Murchison Falls National Park → Kitgum
Early morning drive again through the park to Pakwach. You can see one of the Nile Bridges. Continue to the East up to Gulu. See one of the big towns of Uganda. Continue to Kitgum, sleep in a hotel in or around Kitgum.
5Kitgum → Kidepo National Park
Drive to Kidepo Nationalpark. Enjoy an evening game drive in the park.

6Kidepo National Park → Kaboong
Take a morning walking safari through the park. Later continue to Kaboong. If you like to can explore the town by a walk together with your guide.

7Kaboong → Moroto
On the way to Mototo stop in Kotido for a picknick at the famous rock slide. Children use it for playing. Continue to Moroto, the biggest town in Karamoja. Sleep in Kara Tunga, a project which has the aim to support the Karamojong and their culture.

Get to know the culture of the Karamajong together with the team of Kara Tunga, hike, visit the Manyatta, and see how the people live and work hard to survive the dry environment.

9Moroto → Mbale
Drive to Soroti, have a stop in this big town of Teso. Continue to the Nyero Rockpaintings, protected under UNESCO world heritage. You can explore the various sites by foot with an experienced guide.

Relax and take a project walk in the morning. In the afternoon you can visit a project according to your desire in the area, for example, a Primary- or Secondary school, Treeplanting projects or you can as well visit Mbale town.

Enjoy the landscape of the mountainous area of Sipi including the famous Sipi waterfalls. You can choose between different walks, from easy up to sporty. You can see one or all three waterfalls. After returning for lunch you learn all about coffee: from picking the red coffee bean from the plant, fermenting, shelling, grinding and roasting. At the end you will enjoy a wonderful coffee.

12Mbale → Jinja
Drive to Jinja. Boatride to the source of the Nile, see many birds and if you are lucky also lizards, like the big monitor lizard.

13Jinja → Entebbe
Drive to Kampala, where you visit the town, the craftmarkets, or the mosque according to your interests. Continue towards Entebbe and enjoy the last evening in the gardens of your accommodation.

During the days in the SALEM Eco Lodge the activities you can join are not specifically arranged for tourists, but part of the daily routine in SALEM. Therefore, the days may change according to the activities desired. Here days can be added, in case of interest, just contact us.

The tours are private, tailored to your group of up to seven people without any additional guests. For larger groups, we can arrange an extra car upon request.
